As a PhD scholar at the Department of Biochemistry, AIIMS, New Delhi, I am working on elucidating the role of Androgen Receptor in the pathogenesis of Breast Cancer. This prospective study is carried out simultaneously in cell lines and the subjects with Breast Cancer undergoing surgical interventions at AIIMS. This research work is assisted by a group of basic scientists, pathologists, surgeons; medical, surgical, and laboratory oncologists.
Followed by an integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. degree from the Regional Institute of Education, Bhubaneswar, I pursued MSc. Biotechnology from South Asian University (SAU), New Delhi. In my masters’ dissertation, we checked the efficacy of a Pfizer drug against HIV-1 Subtype C that is prevalent in the South Asian Region and Africa. At SAU, I was actively involved in various extra-curricular activities at intra and inter-university levels.
Besides academics, I am a lazy blogger and wannabe science communicator. I write micro-fiction, poetry, and thoughts which you might find here.

I have had my school education from the prestigious Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya,Siwan,Bihar.
Passed the High School and Intermediate examination from the Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE), New Delhi.
Graduated with 4 years integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. degree from Regional Institute of Education (NCERT), Bhubaneswar. Bachelors level Life Sciences and Education degree along with teachers training.
Obtained masters’ degree from South Asian University, New Delhi founded and funded by SAARC countries. Exposed to research methodology and science communication.
Joined All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi to pursue doctoral research. Currently involved in the Breast Cancer research. This study is supported by SERB, AIIMS, and CSIR-UGC fellowships.
